Study Trip to China, May 2010 Claire Pençak has been invited to join a small group of Scottish based choreographers on a study trip to Beijing and Shangai co-funded by the British Council and the Scottish Arts Council. The study tour is planned to coincide with the Beijing Modern Dance Festival presented by LDTX in partnership with the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

Dilly Dilly in Germany and Belgium, February 2010 Tabula Rasa Dance Company has been invited to perform ‘Dilly Dilly’ at two European festivals dedicated to Children’s Theatre and Dance in Germany and Belgium. We will be part of a programme of performances for children alongside work from other companies around Europe. It will be a fantastic opportunity for Tabula Rasa to become part of a wider community creating dedicated work for children. We begin at Take-off: 4. Festival Junger Tanz, at the Tanzhaus in Dȕsseldorf on February 5th and 6th and then move on to Hasselt for the Krokusfestival on February 14th. This has been made possible by support from the Made in Scotland fund. |

Choreographic Fellowship Award Claire Pençak, Artistic Director of Tabula Rasa has been awarded a Choreographic Fellowship by the Scottish Arts Council for 2010. The Award will allow Claire to enrich her choreographic practice through an extended period of study, practice, travel, and reflection and to develop future collaborative projects. |

Tabula Rasa is delighted to announce that it has been chosen to be part of the ‘Made in Scotland’ showcase at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a result of ‘Made in Scotland’ we will be presenting ‘Dilly Dilly’, a dance theatre production for children as part of the Dance Base Fringe programme from August 6th – 16th. |
