The Winter Room 2006

A woman and a dark companion inhabit an elemental space, an imagined timeless place where people and winter woods gather around the same hearth.

This work is a poetic interpretation through dance, music and visual images, of a Northern winter, of isolation and of our desire and need to keep warm.
At the heart of this piece is the eternal cycle of creation, destruction and renewal.
