A Solo Dance Recital.

A programme of three solos  created for Claire Pençak by Françoise Dupuy (France), Frank McConnell (Scotland) alongside a new work of her own.

Tathaich

The ominous tolling of a bell sets the tone for this evocative work.
The title ‘Tathaich’ comes from the Gaelic meaning the haunting; a mysterious sound

A Long and Winding Road / Un Si Long Chemin

Feuille D’Automne

Uplifting choreography  that evokes Autumn, wide skies and daydreaming. A place in praise of those places we create for ourselves in moments of reverie.

Choreography        Frank McConnell
Music            Ludwig Van Beethoven from ‘The Archduke Trio’ performed by the Beaux Arts Trio; Traditional Clapping Song ‘Seann duine cha ghabh mi idir’  sung by Margaret Stewart and accompanied by Rona Lightfoot and Ingris Henderson with percussion by James MacIntosh.
